I usually use second hand yeast. First I make life in the form of real ale then I use the left over yeast to make life again; there is no end to making life. The beer and the bread even compliment each other with a bit of mature cheddar. Thanks for the info will have to try substituting some flour with some polenta.

Thanks----- for the demo. i too have recently started making bread. Though i use sugar and add the oil in the begining. But i am just not getting that golden brown color. Great flavor though .... thanks..

Try putting it into a 450 degree oven for the first 10 minutes, then lower to 350 for the remainder of the time )30 - 40 ? minutes.
