  • @erickeown1 Actually Eric, the food shortages are because we are feeding all the grain that should feed people to cattle instead. The earth could feed 2.5 billion people on a standard American meaty diet (which is unfortunately catching on in Asia) or 10 billion people on a vegetarian diet.

  • @erickeown1 "Diet for a New America," which documents the effect of meat-laden diets on world hunger is a book you might find fascinating. Here's a link to it just in case you are interested:

  • @erickeown1 This page won't let me post the link but it is easy to search on Amazon. Definitely worth checking out.

  • Thankyou john, if only more celebs cared like you do, but they are all too selfish...thankyou thankyou.

  • I am SO GLAD to hear someone who believed that we were freaks, idiots, elitist, etc. actually looked into what we're talking about and saw the horror that is animal enterprises. Thank you so much for putting this out there and changing at least some of your ways. I'm sure you'd be a very welcome spokesman for any AR organization.

  • peopel should never wear fur in this day in age.

  • John is right,it is better to eat vegetables than meat. meat actually makes people have cholesterol and age quicker.

  • Respond to this video... There would be no animal population problem if everyone went veg because only animal farmers/exploiters breed cows, pigs, chickens, turkeys. Only very few breed them for other purposes. That is a weak argument. There is no reason NOT to go veg. There is every reason to go veg. Animals are treated poorly at farms, there is no need to allow this to continue. Go veg! X

  • Respond to this video... There is no reason to treat cows, pigs, chickens, turkeys like they do in HUGE factory farms. Look at that video "Farm to Fridge". There is no need to treat animals badly when you can go veg. Going veg is healthier, cleaner, smarter and has so many benefits. Eating meat is ignorant, disgusting and cruel. John you are amazing for realizing that animal exploitation is unwise. Thank you so much! X

  • thanks John and all other vegans!

  • Good for John!

  • Sigh...yea was the fox (even more than the rest of the hideous, monstrous way they were all animals were treated which was unspeakable) that hit me the hardest too. The look of why and help and agony were so plain I will never life long enough to forget that image nor do I want to. I am glad I had the guts to want to finally know the truth of what happens and not hide anymore. Earthlings . com

  • @MyBatcat There would be plenty of grain and wheat etc if the government would stop paying farmers not to grow crops.

  • Wow this was a surprise, I'm impressed! :)
