Funny @Metrostar57 "What the isles have is potential" they said the Same thing about the Penguins and the Blackhawks. the Penguins were one of the worst teams in the league. What they need is a good development program. If Ricky had a more sound defense in front of him he probably wouldn't need to try and do everything out there, that's why he get's injured alot. They Need an New "Butch Goring", a good solid player to keep the young guys heads in the game, and Lead by example. Go Isles \m/

@Metrostar57 You can't actually be serious...agreed the Isles are young, but as far as depth goes, they're probably one of the worst teams in the league. Detroit, Vancouver, Philly etc. they have depth. What the isles have is potential.

I give credit to the Isles depth, second only to the red wings, between koskinen, Haley, joensuu, Hamonic, poulin, ect, the isles have excellent organizational depth, and when their players get into their late/mid 20's the isles will be rocking the east. Rags, your 7-8th seeds do not impress me. Considering you are only going down once Gaborik leaves and even worse when Lundqvist is gone, hope for a good scout or you WILL need lucky draft picks to make it in the NHL. Just sayin...

ranger fans have no knowledge of the sport all they know is how to talk shit till somebody puts their foot in their mouths.is this the year for dp as an islander fan no he's finished his side to side isnt there his athletic ability is gone better getting rid of him and keeping biron atleast biron has side to side ability.
