Can you put up the entire 1992 speech to the parliamentary candidates, its one of my favourites. The one that goes "Some commentators seemt o suggest the two main parties are now lookalike........"

For a woman to become the leader of our country would have been unheard of fourty years ago.

May I ask you reliable sources of what was british opinion, when enlighted by Lady Thatcher, about France and Mitterand ?
I am a franch libertarian, who considers Ms Thatcher only mistake was the fact that she wasnt' born french.

@koromazov i think many people in the uk agreed with thatcher that france and mitterand were a bit too socialist. this feeling grew more and more as the european community evolved and moved towards a federal state
