Boy's Mother Cautions Public About Abilify
The mother of a 12-year-old boy who tried to kill himself by hanging - again - urges parents and guardians to pay close attention to their children if they have been diagnosed as bipolar and take the prescription drug Abilify.
Her son, Justin Hill, remained at Huntsville Hospital after attempting to hang himself last Friday in his aunt's carport. A family member found him hanging, unconscious, and performed CPR until EMTs arrived.

It made my depression worse! stole my creativity and drive to do anything, Made me sleep all day, increased appetite it was just terrible. I went off of it and I feel much better.

i take it for 3 years, and they indeed lobotomized me, i am also hospitalized for 5 years because of a bad stinking lawyer, psychiatry and law simply stinks, o i will get in the news soon

Thank you all for the honesty, I've been trying to find a sincere evalutation that doesn't claim "medications saved my life," because I believe natural cures are the most efficient alternative, despite the fact that I was just recently prescribed abilify.

jesus . . . .the commercial is terrifing. I was perscribed it yesterday. Doesnt anybody have anything good to say about antidepressants on YouTube?

But aside from Schizophrenia be a stigma label, neuroleptics (anti-psychotics, new and old) are chemical lobotomies that cause irreversible brain damage. They were synthesized into a tranquilizer from a chemical found to retard motor movements and hinder rope climbing abilities in rats and then used to quiet crowded mental hospitals before Big Pharma ran media campaigns and pushed psychiatry to give them a legitimate use in medicine.

No, it actually wasn't made particularly for anything. They are once accidentally discovered toxic chemicals that had psychoactive properties and every single one since the originals are just slightly modified versions of the last. This is why we have "drug classes". Also, Schizophrenia is a unscientific stigma label, it doesn't exist. Read Robert Whitaker's Mad in America, a discover magazine best science book of 2002
