A DADGAD Thankyou - Lowden S10

I guess with a 2nd fret capo DADGAD becomes EBEABE but you know what I mean.
Thanks to everyone for their good wishes on my birthday and thanks to Terry for taking the time and trouble to make a video for a song of mine called 'Magazines' and for putting it up on the day itself.
You're all used to my unedited,unrehearsed and quite often not properly thought through videos.Some of you say that the appeal is in the basic nature of them and who knows,you may be right.I don't really have the technology (or probably the inclination truth to tell) to do anything more polished so when people are kind enough to do videos for stuff that I took some care over and that sounds not too bad I am very grateful as it goes a small way to showing me in a slightly more professional light....hehehehe.

there's been so many times when i've been really tired working through the night until after dawn where i heard that sound in my head that you were playing there . well now i know it was a capo'd thing as well , ha , ha ! funny how the old brain plays tricks on ya' , as hearing things coming in from god only knows how or where when your tired ?

@TheFlameTop ...I like the capo on the Lowden's 2nd fret as it turns it into a 12 fret model and it just sounds a bit jauntier really.Tired and thirsty are both not bad things to be as long as you can get to a drink of water or a comfy bed pretty soon.

i didn't know you have a lowden...i have a mcilroy now...he was one the original luthiers at lowden who went out on his own a few years back..mine is similar to yours and i love it...cedar and clara walnut....i like that wool youre wearing paul...anyway..i'm back in the country now,so hopefully i'll get to hear about jury service in person...you're looking well and cheery.

@marycigarettes ...Cheers m'dear.The wool is getting a lot of use these very cold days and the Lowden is one of the few that has survived the cull. My days aren't entirely my own now that Lord Snooty and his pals got us oiks in on this 'New Deal' affair.Marginally better than cleaning gum off the road with a guitar pick though no doubt that will come......arrangements will be made for sure.

Wow Paul, I love the DADGAD tuning. You're sounding great with it.
