Jehovah's Witnesses- Is Jesus Your Mediator?

Most of Jehovah's Witnesses believe Jesus is their mediator. But the official teachings of the Watchtower say otherwise.

@cedella212 - Thank you for the kind words. Jesus is "the way the truth and the life". (John 14:6) Salvation is only through him not through any men.

@TheRivetthead - Many have debated whether JWs are a cult or not- and many outside of the religion feel that they are.

Could you please explain to me why you feel they are not a cult? I ask because I genuinely would like your reasoning on it.

Don't you find it somewhat interesting that there is no scripture that can connect or prove the "faithful slave" (Matt 24:45,47) to be part of the 144,000?

BTW.. I wonder if "moialmend" has ever looked at page 5 of the NWT and researched " Westcott and Hort? "

Most of us on the jwstruggle blog are active JWs. There are tens of thousands of Witnesses that are awake to these facts. Some wish that reform would come, or that the GB would realize that they have elevated themselves like the pharisees and are being put in the place of Christ. Others feel that they may have to leave. Some have been shunned and yet still care about their brothers and sisters that are "Captive to a Concept" as Ray Franz said.

You cannot be saved through works..but through mercy and grace..the JW's feel as if works will save them..but you can only be saved by recieving Jesus Christ as your Savior..

The Jehovahs' Witnesses need to listen to this scripture:

John 10: 7-9 So Jesus said, “Truly, I say to you, I am the DOOR of the sheep. All who came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved"

The Watchtower Org..had closed the heavenly door for decades...men lived and died believing the Heavenly door was shut against them. Honestly, they do not even know who or what that heavenly door represents!

Wonderful video, this is one of the main reasons why I left the organization. I did not even realize until a recently that Jesus was not suppose to be our mediator. It is so sick that they try to teach us this.

@eternityandforever Fred Franz+Nathan Knorr were responsible for 1975,thousands sold their homes as circuit overseers gave talks about it at assemblies,1967 was the time that it was talked about the most.l was only young but l remembered the hassle of the aftermath,they lost a good number of people.JEREMIAH 17:5 Trust no man,Mark13:32,Jesus dose'nt even know the end time,only the Father,many more scriptures to support this in Matt,Mark,Luke+Paul talks about it.

@JWStruggle JW's teach that Jesus is our mediator. We offer our prayers through him. There are two classes of followers of Christ, the 144,000 and the other sheep. All prayers are thus to be directed to the Father, Jehovah, and offered THROUGH his SON, Jesus. Jesus is the MEDIATOR between God and men=1 Timothy 2:5, Hebrews 8:6-9, 9:15,12:24, Galatians 3:19, 2 Corinthians1:20, Phillipians2:10,11, Isaiah 45:22-Romans 14:11,12- prayers go to Jehovah God. Acts 15:14-18 it's God.

@creations78 Sadly, some chose to be misled by this incorrect rumor. Just like the Israelites made a golden calf, and 3,000 died for that (Exodus chapter 32), some of JW's are mislead by false ideas and spread rumors and stories. The Watchtower Society did not claim that 1975 was the end. SOME JW individuals spread it and others believed it and left when it didn't happen. WE must be careful what we hear and repeat to others and make sure it is from the bible. JW's teach Matthew 24:36.
