GoPro 3D - Anaglyph 3D Test Video (side-by-side - WITH YouTube 3D-Function)

A 3D video that is using the new 3D functions of YouTube. This Movie was filmed with 2 Go Pro cameras, mount with tape on a small USB-Harddisk. This test was successfull, so I will buy 2 Go Pro 's.



YouTube kann jetzt auch 3D-Videos in Echtzeit in allen 3D Formaten zeigen.

Wiedergabe:
Der Berachter kann durch Klick auf den 3D-Knopf die Darstellungsmethode umschalten.

Hochladen:
Ein 'side by side 3D Video' enfertigen und auf Youtube hochladen.
Bei so einem Video sind die beiden Bilder nebeneinander. Mein Video hat also eine Auflösung von 2560 x 720.


YouTube 3D Funktionen:

'yt3d:enable=true' in den Tag eintragen, um die 3D-Funktion von YouTube einzuschalten.

In den Tag außerdem das Seitenverhältnis eintragen. Mit der GoPro hab ich mit 1280 x 720 gefilmt. Das ist ein Seitenverhältnis von 16:9. Aufgrund eines Bugs bei YouTube muß man das zur Zeit dann so definieren: 'yt3d:aspect=15.99:9'.

Sollten die Bilder vertauscht sein, also das linke auf der rechten Seite sein, kann man das auch YouTube mitteilen: 'yt3d:swap=true'.

Zuletzt könnt man auch die beiden Kanäle ausrichten mit z.B. 'yt3d:left=0.2_0.3_0.7_0' und 'yt3d:right=0.3_1_0.4_0.5'.


Vorteile:

Das 3D Video kann mit allen Methoden (anaglyph mit rot/cyan, blau/gelb, shutter-Brillen) wiedergegeben werden.

Der Codec verfälscht die Farben nicht. Leichte Farbverfälschungen führen zu Geisterbildern, da die Kanaltrennung bei der anaglyphen Methode leidet.

I am unsing now Magix deluxe 17 for cutting 3D videos, but it has more errors than functions. Can somebody suggest a 3D-cutting-software? It should be able to deshake all 3D-shots in a project an it should work.

One more question: Mostly all 3D videos that are taged with "yt3d:enable=true" are mostly not playable: I hear the sound but I get only a black screen. If I click the 3D button, I see the message "An error occurred. Please try again later". I think it is not a problem of my computers, but of the YouTube server.

Do You have the same problem watching 3D videos?

No there is no 3D-driver installed. I am using only the anaglyth mode, because my screen is limited to 60Hz and that is much to slow for shutter classes.

I think it is a problem of the server (YouTube) because sometimes the 3D videos are showen correctly. But mostly I see only a black window. And that's the same at all my computers at home (I have some [WinXP, WinVista, Win7, Apple]) :-(
