  • I like. Very good playing. You should feel good about your playing. You've put in the work and it shows.

  • @phillybass101 Thanks!!! Still have lots to learn and I've been hesitating to post anything new until I get better. But I appreciate the sentiment and will try to post something new soon!

  • OK... I just read the video description. There has GOT to be a catch to that story! LOL You said you're still trying to figure out how to play bass; that makes it sound like you've only been playing a year or something! LOL And I'm willing to bet you've been playing 4--5 years at least. If not, then you're extremely talented (naturally) with the bass and you should do it the best you can for the rest of your life! lol

  • Good point :)

I guess I put that I'm still learning to play because that's really how I feel and one can never learn enough. That being said I've been playing for about 14 years, man how time fly's!

Thanks for the kind words and for listening.

  • Hey Jimm loving the new advancebass web.. keep the good work my man!... hey how about "the perfect blond" from tribal tech for the solo over changes...

  • wow I don't know about that one, what about st thomas :)

I am working on a form of Rhythm Changes, not sure if I'll post anything yet, I think the next few posts might be transcriptions, or something easy. My brain needs time to recover from working on the new website!

  • Must say, It's good to see people actually trying to learn about decent imprvisatinal techniques and musical theory rather than slap-happy pentatonic soloists :)

  • absolutely amazing! this makes me wanna go practice! haha

  • Ah! I knew it! LOL I figured you'd been playing some long length like that, because even with extreme talent it's rare if not unheard of for someone to only be playing a year or two and play like that! LOL
