  • Hi, I've got a 1973 Honda SL 125 and I'm having a problem with sooty plugs. Its something to do with my fuel. I use unleaded and add a lead replacement by redex. What do other people use on old bikes that were meant for leaded fuel? Thanks

  • @john47999 I just ran mine on regular gas, no additives. It ran fine for the thousand miles ,or so, I rode while I owned it.

  • I had a 1972 K1 as a kid in the 70s, and I just bought a 1973 K2 to restore. Ive got almost all the parts now and will be putting it together this summer. THis movie inspires me to make one before and after shots of my project.

  • Thanks. I'll subscribe and watch for the video.

  • thats the bike I have it sat in my garage at my cabin it the back for 12 years I pulled it out last year and cleaned the carbuator, and got it running then I bought a new one for it and put on the custom pipe my dad got or it when he first bought it, now it runs perfect.

  • Yup, these are hard to kill.
