WTH Man! What kinda of slow crapped out computer do you run!!? It's 10 times Faster than that shity old Vista! you must be using the 32 bit version of win 7...

they have NOT nailed win 7 its slower then Vista with sp2
also can someone tlel me why network is not listed in start menu? instead you have other things that matter less
win 7 is not as seroius as vista was and yes try yourself vista sp2 .. also see other tests wich show vista is faster.
and yes i have the other versions... and win 7 locks up pretty easy , just run couple of advanced app it locks.. this is not true with vista sp2. same is for usb and drivers.
dont get this if you have vsta

sorry for the stupid question, but what kind of laptop do you have (manufacturer, model)? i'm looking for a low-end one and the looks of yours really impressed me. :)

its an older toshiba p105 series (p105-s6217 specificly). its not the best laptop but it certainly isnt bad. it has taken quite a beating, i cant complain about the build quality, its been tossed quite a few times, had the lid slam shut (slammed seriously), i managed to dissconnect the screen once and i fixed it merely by pushing the cable back into the vid card. dont buy the new toshibas though, ive seen them in the store and they suck...but ive been happy with this one

yea...my only real problem with this laptop is the sound card is not the best in the world and it can crackle at high volumes, but if massively improved with 7 so i wouldn't worry bout it
