@lordiscander As a repair shop owner, Boss 302 owner and mechanic I can tell you there is nothing in any Japanese piece of junk that could lure someone out of a boss 302. All you have to do is drive one and you'll know what I'm talking about.

If you install a new set of axel backs it sounds bad ass so stop crying and upgrade. The 302 axel back is louder then other 5.0 but nothing compared to aftermarket due to the noise ordnance laws... GAY buy the way but it does not matter in some states as long as you dont have emissions test. My only question is, Warranty is it still good after the track key install?

Wow. You pussies commenting negatively about this are SO full of shit, the lopey idle is a very obvious change from "stock", and it sounds badass in real life. One of the best sounding engines i've ever heard. Quit whining about basically nothing, bunch of girls.

Lopey idle is a major letdown. Not even close. If you hear a lopey idle, you are imagining it.
the key must be more of a street or oval track designed tune more for street tire and tip in and out performance.... a SCT Custom Tune, LUND/JDM Tuners etc. nets you a $400 plus price tage so with your $302 plus 1 hr labor your in the same ball park, the car seemed snappy on the street and did idle louder and lumpy and 2 step was fun, but I think more designed for a street tire, we plan to put a set of diffrent wheels/skinnies on the car and maybe a better clutch and SCT Custom Tune!

Just had mine installed. Disappointed. Doesn't sound anything like the videos ones posted early on in the year and on Ford performance. The lopey idle has been diminished greatly. Anyone else notice this too? Just sounds like faint lope comparitively. The ghost cams programming on the regular 5.0 sounds much better.

I agree the 1 Video where they demonstrated the TRACKEY had to be a diffrent tune, it is a diffrent idle but not as aggresive, the 2-Step proved to give the car consistant 1.74 60 ft times on our MT Drag radials where the car was sporatic from 1.66 to 1.89 60 fts prior we had the 2 step set at the MAX 5100 RPM and tried to launch lower and the car bogged, the car seemed sluggish and we only netted a best ET of 11.92 @ 117 with 1.744 60 FT consistant yet expected more from this key.
