Simple and musical exercise for practicing the Moeller stroke and controlling the rebound. Remember to stay loose and relaxed, and go slowly at first!

Read Syncopation in 8th note triplets. Play consecutive triplets with one hand, and change the hand on each note, beginning with an accent.
Here I orchestrate the exercise to SNARE (right) , RACK TOM (left), FLOOR TOM (right) and SNARE (left) all the way, but of cource you can play this on only one drum, or play it around the kit in what ever order you want.
Here I use the exercise #1 from the page 38.

Improvisation starts from 1:43

The kit: Dw Jazz series, 20" x 16", 12" x 8" and 14" x 14".
Snare: Dw VLT 13" x 6"
Hats: Zildjian K 14"

Recorded with Zoom Q3.
