If you give a millilon monkey's a type writer each one will eventually write the works of Shakespear. EVEN IF (and i'm not saying they're not, i'm not saying they are) there is a tool influence to karnivool, the fact that they may sound similar could just be purely coincidental because there are only so many sounds that can be made.

And either way, who gives a fuck? tool are great, karnivool are great. Vool's singing > Tool. Tool's technical ability > Vool. IMO ofc.. Children, the lot of you.

And Mr Kenny can sing the fuck out of a song... actually they can all play the fuck out of a song :)

heard them a cople of years back. Tool is way more complex technically , whereas karnivool relies more on 6/8 and 7/8 , but kenny sings better :)

Cause they're Prog they sound like Tool? Come on now, Tool wasn't the first Prog band and they're not the last. Tool took alot of influence from the bands that came before them, who gives a fuck, they're all great.

I think Maynard's voice is easily better, more distinctive and stays with you after you hear it alot more
