George Mason University Endorses Animal Cruelty

After Ringling Brother's adult Asian elephants were led into the Patriot Center at George Mason University to "perform", this baby elephant was left behind. The baby was alone in the elephant tent and exhibited stereotypic behavior, commonly seen in captive and traumatized animals, by repeatedly swaying back and forth and head bobbing.

This is a tragic example of the type of abuse that George Mason University endorses when they host Ringling Bros. & Barnum & Bailey Circus every year at the Patriot Center.

Shame on GMU.

Take action! Contact university officials immediately to demand that GMU and the Patriot Center stop profiting from animal abuse by hosting Ringling Bros & Barnum & Bailey CIrcus every year:
