Arthur (Tim) Garson Jr., executive vice president and provost of the University of Virginia and author of `Health Care Half Truths: Too Many Myths, Not Enough Reality`
(Apr 20, 2009 at Cornell University)
It's only a matter of time—and not much time—before the number of Americans without health insurance tops the entire populations of Canada and Australia. The number (soon to reach 50 million) is "awful," said pediatric cardiologist Arthur Garson Jr., executive vice president and provost of the University of Virginia and author of "Health Care Half Truths: Too Many Myths, Not Enough Reality."
there is no 'we' :p
i strongly disagree, you need government entirely out of the mess, not perpetuating its destruction of medicine. glad you care tho, so do i

The short story is what we need in the United States is a sound, sane single payer system, one where everyone is included and no one is left out. Without that, we continue to fail as a nation.

One more tip on sound. When you have a guest with a wireless microphone, you must make sure that he or she TURNS OFF all Cellular Phones, Blackberry devices, etc. That is the cause of the interference you hear during Dr. Garson's presentation.

Excellent presentation by Dr. Garson, but, how can you set this up and not have correctly recorded sound for the voices from the students? If you do this again, you must have microphones for the audience participants. It would have been so easy to do this.
