A huge apology to those who are waiting for some new animations the fact that Im working on 3 all at the same time mean that theyre all being made, but very slowly.
Anyways this AMV has been in the works for ages its just something Ive worked on whenever Ive become sick of animating, but I felt you guys deserved a subber dedication video for being so awesome (:D XD) so I finished it off ^_^ I know its not up to the standards of most other AMVs out there now (seriously, you guys are awesome! :D :D), but I hope its entertaining enough to keep you watching. I luv Shadow *glomps* ^^
Anyways, does anyone use Sony Vegas 9? Because despite having grown fond of Vegas 7 over the years, I figured it was time for an update so I bought Vegas 9, got it home, installed it and . . was rendered speechless.
It is the BIGGEST PILE OF CRAP IVE EVER SEEN! Theyve taken the BEST features that were in Vegas 7 (masking, compositing mode, the ability to zoom in really close in the workspace, customisation) and removed them! There are NO new changes to it at all (except that its now compatible with some weird program that no ones heard of) and theres tons of needless limitations on it. How can an updated version of a product be worse?!?!
If you have Sony Vegas 9, no offence, and you have my undying sympathy. If you have Vegas 7/8 and are thinking about getting 9, DONT

Phew, rant over sorry about that, but I was so annoyed after spending all that money on it that I had to have go at it somewhere. Sorry guys.

okay, how do you show two videos or pictures faded into eachother? like at 2:00 and forward, what effect do you use? I have sony vegas 8, so Im guessing 8 and 7 are the same baisically...

you use multiple layers and various effects (chroma keyer, masking, cookie cutter, opacity setting etc) to make the two clips appear together in the way you want
