  • Studies on structure and function of the ribosome lies under Biology/Medicine/Physiology, NOT Chemistry. 

  • in the words of my emerging molecular structers professor "X-ray crystallography is more voodoo than science" They have to do all sorts of funky things with buffers that they can't exactly nail down to get a better image. I wouldn't call it voodoo though, more like art.
