My mom died back in2006 with ALS.With that time I made it clear...If I were ever in that state.Ending it.Definetly! Who says what living is? After seeing all...YOU should be making these to acts to follow.
Thanks for sharing! my dad has ALS and it SUCKS!!!!! he's been diagnosed only 7 months ago and he's already paralised and having difficulties breathing and talking and swallowing...
Please pray for hm, we will be praying for you too!!!
You have done a very good job at sharing your illness with those who have it or have loved ones and friends affected by it. I appreciate your candidness and your openness. While this disease is not something anyone would ask for or volunteer for, it is very real to you and those who have ALS or know people with ALS. It is scary and there is a certain level of fear that we all have with ALS. Keep smiling and encouraging others. YOU ARE WONDERFUL AND GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU WITH ALS.
I admire your matter-of-fact approach to educating those of us who are interested in learning more about just what ALS is and means. We are all given one journey. We will all have a final exit. I am a cashier, age 54, asking for donation for the Lou Gehrig's foundation. Thank you for such a real introduction. Terri
Thank you for sharing your life with us. My Uncle Rob was just dx'd with ALS and I'm trying to find out all I can about it. I'm wanting to help him somehow but don't know how. Thank you for taking the time to try and help others. I just said a prayer for you. God will be there with you. He knows you better than anyone and loves you more than you can even imagine.
Thank you Rob for posting your vidoes. Im currently studying for a mid-term on ALS and your vidoes have not only educated me, but they have reinforced my learning. Im subscribing so I can keep you with your progress. Take care
Hey Dun, Tyvm for posting. My mother recently got diagnosed with this horror. And as her son, it's not easy as a family to deal with, as you know. ALS is the sickest thing, in all humankind for anyone to deal with. She is using a laser over her body every night(her voice is going away right now)
I empathize with your situation. 3 1/2 hours ago my old friends girlfriend passed away from this disease. She was diagnosed in june this year. They had to wait until a certain point to rule out any other thing that can mimick als symptoms. Anyway, I saw her when she could talk but no use of hands, then like month and half went by she had to be put on a vent to help breathe, and no more speech, and sadly she was an unusual case that went from the beginning to end stages quickly. she was only 40.
@Kunniatonpaskiainen God bless....I bet your mom is living in peace now :)
