I seem to remember him playing lights out the first month of the season, and again after the trade deadline when Spacek solidified the second pair.
But it's been a long time, and in the end I'm really too tired to be mad at the guy. Without him the Oilers don't make the SCF even if they do make the playoffs. There's no denying he and horcoff shut down the other team's top line game in and out during the run

also let me add that Fernando Pisani was a second line player and he was the leading goal scorer of the playoffs. Not Staal. Not Cheechoo, Not Thornton. Fernando Frickin Pisani!!! So before you start bragging about how good these 100 point players are, tell me why they can't get you past the 2nd round of the playoffs, what two years in a row! Fernando is a clutch guy. Horcoff is a clutch guy. Roloson(when he's hot) is a clutch guy. Lets hope Matty can get us to the Playoffs this year,
