JANAB M.A RAUF SAHEB, GAZAL-Ut. SHAIK DAWOOD TABLA, 1950's

Janab M.A. Rauf (Raoof) Saheb was a great singer of his times a desciple of Ustad Jhande Khansaheb
(Ustad of Janab Naushad Saheb ), Rauf Saheb gave music in film Tohfa (1947). It was great experience to listen to him live, he sits like a statue just you see his lips moving.
In this GAZAL he was accompanied by Ustad Shaik Dawood on Tabla.

Dear Sir , Thanks for the rare ghazal . Janab MA Rauf was not a desciple of Ustad Jhande Khan Sahib . He learnt music from his father . The photo belongs to 1938 . He composed many ghazals for Begum Akhtar during her stay in Hyderabad in 1931 . Please upload his Bhajan ' kaaya ka pinjra dole ' which was first rendered in 1931 at a function at Osmania University .
