  • I don't think this explanation could be much clearer in communicating the idea of a vector, but I must admit I was only absolutely satisfied in school when I was given their definition as elements of a vector space..

    Would you agree - defining them as set with the given properties of a vector space is the most rigorous - just not the most intuitive...?
