MTA World Aids Day "Golden Ticket" Event

"On Friday, December 2nd, at K Street Lounge, Metro TeenAIDS hosted DC's premier youth-oriented open-mic event in honor of World AIDS Day, bringing together young people in new and innovative ways to combat the District's HIV/AIDS epidemic.
The "Golden Ticket Party" was a free event for 13- to 24-year-olds to showcase DC's local talent, music from DJ Money of 93.9 WKYS, Special Guest performances by Raheem DeVaughn and KingPen Slim, free food, HIV/STI testing, and the opportunity for youth to create their own personal campaign against HIV/AIDS in conjunction with the "REALTalkDC" initiative and share them with their peers on their Facebook, Twitter, and Foursquare pages.
MTA is proud to partner with SMYAL, DC Department of Health -- HAHSTA, The Women's Collective, Children's National Medical Center, StreetWize Foundation, Sasha Bruce, Promising Futures and Greater Than AIDS."
