  • When it comes to spade bits i noticed a lot of sets only go up to an inch is that because your better off going to a holesaw or forstner bit or is it worth it to get a set that goes up to an 1 1/2

  • @victoriadish It all depends on what you are drilling. Remember a hole saw can only drill through around 2" of material. I typically use hole saws for anything larger then 1" when they will work. Also a larger spade bit will require more torque then the same size hole saw, so it could come down to the power of the drill.
