The Zephyr winds it's way through Glenwood Canyon and some of the most beautiful scenery of it's circuitous route through the Rockies on it's way to Denver and then Chicago.

  • We took the Zephyr to Chicago then hopped on the Cardinal to Baltimore. It was a round trip in first class bedrooms. I've uploaded vids if you want to take a look. Thanks for a great video!

  • One of my favorite trains! It's a very beautiful scene/landscape of snowing weather from all the windows of the train... Wonderful!

  • How was the trip during the winter compared to during the summer? The reason for asking is I might go next month in December. It is easier for me getting time off work vs the summer.

  • Spectacular video! What gorgeous mountain terrain. thanks for sharing it, Rick. :0)

  • Try a different wind sock if you can or maybe a couple different types.
