Pops and I trying out our new Blade mSR helicopters outside at my parent's house. Got him setup on his new dx6i transmitter and although we had some good flying, it does seem that when the camera rolls... we crash more! :)

Either way, it shows the durability of these little guys, and the fact that they are extremely fast and agile for their size, especially with the expo turned down. An excellent little bird to play around with!

  • Man... your flight skills are great - and your videography is just as good! It's hard to find good quality videos like this... great job on both counts!

  • @CrazyHeliDude Thank you Crazy, and likewise on your SR series, excellent work!

  • Hey Erkrystof this video was really great. 5* Keep up the good work!

  • Thank you Crazy. We hope to fly a little better this summer WHILE we're on camera. Not like I can friggin flip the thing over inside the house while nobody is watching, it's just something about knowing the camera is on makes everything so much more intense.

  • Thats something i was concerned about with a computer TX was all the overcomplicated programming but after checking a couple of reviews both on youtube the DX6i with the rolling scroller button looks perfect for all my needs and im now looking forward to a new set and a TX is only £90!! which is a bargain:)

  • Good call on the DX6i if you're looking to use it for anything else beyond the one heli, I've got that and a dx7 and having something that you can program is so nice compared to the stock configuration hard-set transmitters.

  • Thanks very much thats exactly what i needed to know, i will prob go for bind and fly and get the 6i tx then i will have a decent tx to replace my ageing skysport 6 heli set which is about 12yrs old!! :O and as far as i can tell also use the tx for surface use for my tracked vehicle project.

    thanks again:)

  • I have both the mCX and mSR (mCX being E-Flight's coaxial). If they came out with the mSR beforehand, I don't think I would have bout the mCX at all, it's just as stable as that little guy. There's a tad bit difference given that it is a single rotor, but I am really amazed at how well it can just sit there and hover. I'd say go for it. Just make sure of a few things, that the servo arms aren't hitting the canopy and that the blades balance out a bit, every little bit helps. Try it!

  • I have a question i hope you can answer

ive read many reviews & write ups on this fascinating little heli & they state that it is stable like a contra blade heli,so that being said is this heli naturally stable in the hover(pendulum effect) or will it naturally fall off the bubble like a true single rotor heli would,i gave up with my twister fp for many reasons, bad performance,stabilty,quality,BROKEN:/ contra's dont look right to me but this seems perfect like a bit of both, what do you think:)

  • NO DOUBT. Thanks to JMICHAELSMITH01's recommendations, I did pick up a small HD video camera that mounts onto a hat very well with some velcro. So hopefully next time I do any flying videos it will be easier to watch, as his are great with nothing but a hat-cam. Even if it looks like you've grown a third-eye... :)
