As a child of the 1980's I LOVED this show...along with Disney's "Side Kicks" (the show about the Cop, "Mr. Rizzo," who adopted "Ernie," the young Asian kid who was a Karate expert). Side Kicks came on right after (or maybe before) Sledgehammer...I loved both of these shows!

Ahh yes, one of my favorite shows. There's at least two intros, the other one is almost a 'goof' type. As David Rasche bends down and aims the gun, it cuts to a close up and he bends down again. I think that was the later episodes.
