@suzukiSJ88 There are many religious people who believe that, and thats fine, atleast you are acknowledging science. I personally see it as religious people trying to have it both ways, but thats just my opinion. What Gervais is saying, which is clear to anyone, is that the Old testement account of creation contradicts what science has discovered about the origins of the universe/the earth/life. Light being created before the sun and stars, being just one example.

@LondonIrishRover first of all im not a scientist and wont pretend to be so i dont know when life first formed here but all i am saying is that all the bible says is that god made it not how so what makes people think they can presume to say how god did or did not make the earth i just think that natural selection may be how god choose to progress life on earth that goes for plants animals fungi bactera all life forms on earth im not looking for a fight just expressing my opinion
