this is so sad he actually died in 2009 he was 17 years old i love his mom when they both showed it was so nice of oprah to tell the audience not 2 clap because he had to use echolocation.it was a good thing too because all of the audience could just stand there in amazement.he really proved to me to be grateful for my sight and for every thing in my life that i have he is truly a young hero i wish his mother the best

im so upset he passed away... my psych teacher didnt even tell me when she showed us this video.. I guess it would've ruined the mood of how happy this kid was, happier than most of the people in the world.. maybe not seeing this ugly world is a blessing

@radar550 i actually have to a degree, i cant herar the reverberation off of small objects but larger ones are no problem up to 15 feet away.
