@seth1913 What's the 1913 in reference to? ...when you say distill it out are you refering to washing/purification?

@TimTaylor540 i dont know much about biodiesel but couldnt you just distill the methanol out? and it should work considering the fist diesel was run on peanut oil

@bnapier85 Oh yeah, it's also a solvent and will eat up most any rubber/plastic parts like fuel lines and other important parts of your fuel system over 2-3 years if you run it at more than 20%.

@bnapier85 biodiesel is a cool idea at first but then it turns into jelly around 50 degrees and to avoid that you can really only run it at 20% in your tank. the machines to make it are $5,000 or more just to start making the stuff and it contains methanol so I wouldn't take to many swigs, although you could. I mean you could drink gas to but I wouldn't do that either lol

Read diesel power.... Lol see how many stages he uses. With out it he has like 850 rwhp. Every time he puts down 1500rwhp on the dump he also has to put in a new motor. There is NO way he runs a 10.8 with out it. There's only one truck that I can recall that does that on fuel only!!!
