mine's 9 metres
I could break the long jump WR but can't be arsed to run

@JMoore4291 if you want to jump a gab of 2 feet you can just stand in the gab with your whole foot, and jump to the other side, or stand on one side and barely hit with your toes on the other side. The distance measured is the distance you HAVEN'T TOUCHED but i do get your point.

i don't get why you have to start with your toes up to the line but then you measure the back of your foot, your losing the whole length of your foot, say some 90 year old did it and wore a size 12 shoe, if he jumped 6 inches forward and then measured he would be at a -6... he didn't jump backwards did he? or if he jumps a foot forwards he measures at 0... i dont get it

Do you think there's a directly corelation between the standing vertical leap and the broad jump? Maybe in the broad jump the hip flexors are relevant too.
Because my standing vert is 30inch and my standing broad jump is 9ft 4i 1/2.
So if i get a 40inch vert my broad jump should increase to more than 12ft 5inch.
Maybe there's not a 100% corelation between :)

Oh wait, I just tested myself again. PR 108 inch Broad Jump at 14 xD. Broad Jump 5'11 at age 10. w00t, so proud of myself lol. probably going to get some hater commenting on this like a month later, but meh this is youtube - the pisshole of retarded teens who listen to lil wayne.

Hm... my best is 8ft on the rug, but apparently when I jump on a mat it becomes 9ft+

Great job! What's the most amount of chinups you've done in a row? My guess is 15.

Work on stability and balance drills. Maybe its your form when you jump. Use your arms, throw them out there as hard and fast as possible. That will carry you. Try jumping at more of a 45 degree angle instead of straight out. It will give you a better landing.
