This little jazz waltz by Dave Brubeck comes from his late 1950's "Time Out"/"Time Further Out"period. Jim recorded this on his first LP with Eubie Blake, 1973's, EBM6 album, Eubie Blake Introducing Jim Hession. Jim never could resist playing contemporary "raggy" jazz piano solos for ragtime festivals and events, to emphasize that ragtime did not necessarily begin and end with Scott Joplin.
