A hobby player recklessly tries Chopin.

さそうあきら『神童』の、うたのあのコンサートシーンを読んでどうしても弾きたくなったので練習。

  • Beautiul interpretation - and I agree, you should perhaps try taking piano playing beyond just a hobby. My only advice would be to try a bit more rubato, and don't wear shorts.

  • Oh, ok, it is bothering... it's pretty hot here in Hawaii (and I don't have AC!) but I'll try to wear nicer in next recording. Thanks for the comment.

  • It actually sounds pretty nice. (btw, Is it just me or the piano needs some tuning?)

  • Your ears are correct. It is out of tune. I should've tuned it before recording.

  • Wonderful, except that almost everything is very metronomic and stiff here, especially in the beginning. But that can very easily be remedied..go listen to soifronitsky, or lipatti hree on youtube. Otherwise, great job!

  • Just heard Sofronitsky and Lipatti. Great performances. I see what you mean. Thanks for the comment.

  • Man, this is not easy. Very impressive. Have you ever considered taking your piano playing beyond just a hobby?

  • softly right hand... more sensation... your interpretation is not sound like chopin ;/

  • i really like your version. good job ;)

  • so terrible

  • Who the hell are you? Love your sexy masculine hands and wonderful musicianship. Your Chopin Barcarolle is incredibly gorgeous and just right! Yes, you should put on pants, but that's just because men who deserve to be famous for their achievements should be wearing pants. (Just saying.)

  • double trill, pedaling, phrasing, rubato, piano slightly out of tune and well done. =]

  • That's a pretty intense name for a kid. At least it wasn't etude or something.

  • My favourite Chopin composition (I even gave my son the name 'Barcarolle'), and you play it as good as any of the so-c alled 'pros'. Written at Nohant, I went there 5 years ago, worth a visit. Don't worry about the comments about rubato and shorts, you're doing well!

  • Nice man!! How log have you been playing for?????? you rock!
