  • where i live you cant use compression fitting to extend a well pipe, you have to weld a metal coupling to the casing and thread the casing extention into that

  • In a case where pvc is used for just a starter pipe its just easier to mount the torque arrestor and helps reduce where the most torque of the pump is. Where poly is more flexible the pvc gives the torque arrestor a more rigid mount. Where majority of wire breaks are within the first 5 feet it helps assist in reducing the chance of having a broken pump wire.

  • Pvc is more rigid and protects the wire better than using poly. In addition Pvc does not strech like poly does. Although majority prefer to use poly for easier installations.

  • There are so many things wrong with this. Honestly, just so many things wrong!

  • They make brass fittings that fit right into the pump and adapt to poly... so why not use that instead of putting pvc down there too?
