In The End - Obi-Wan Kenobi

I think the song fits very well. Obi-Wan's goal in life became training Anikan as he promised his master, and once Anikan turned to the Dark Side, Obi Wan's goal became looking after Luke. He says to Anikan "I have failed you." Maybe he feels as though, in the end none of his efforts mattered, and he died before he could see what Luke would do, at least not in the living sense. And as any good Star Wars fan knows, his efforts were not for nothing, because ultimately Luke defeated Vader.

So in all, Obi-Wan feels like he failed everyone. Especially his master and his dying wish.

Think about this guys:
Obi-Wan watched his master die in his arms. Qui-Gon told him that Anakin was to be the chosen one, and from that day forward, Obi-Wan trained Anakin to the best of his abilities and risked his life many times just to keep him alive. And then one day, the temple was attacked. Hundreds of Jedi were slaughtered, and Obi-Wan not only found out, but had to watch his "Brother" kill jedi, and be crowned a sith lord. He then had to basically kill Anakin. He feels guilty as hell..

@Chandler9345 i thought he didnt kill him because he thought that he wouldnt survive burning on a lava bank with no legs and only 1 arm

I never liked Anakin not in the first second third forth fith or sixth movies(not cuase i don't like sith i'm a huge fan of Darth Revan and Darth Maul) In the third one Vader betrayed Obi-wan and i was pissed so I got the game and when ii fought Anakin all i ciould say or think was Gotta murder this bitch!IMA STICK MY FOOT UP HIS ASS! Then in the cut scene where Kenobi cuts Skwalker's arm and legs off at that moment i yelled "DIE!DIE!DIE MUTH FUCKA!"

I was always under the influence that Obi didn't kill Ani cuz he thought he wouldn't live...

It is because he was in love

ich muss da imme heulen
STAR WARS 4-EVER
I disagree that his efforts were for nothing, it's because of Obi-wan that Vader still has that little bit of humanity left that Luke reaches, this is shown in Return of the Jedi when Vader has regret in his voice when talking about Obi-wan

ObiWan diddnt kill Anikin becaus he had thought of him as a brother, and you wouldnt want to kill your sibling right
