@isdang23 There were Indios who were rich during the Spanish Colonial Era. These were the descendants of the datus. Examples are the Lakandulas, the Tupas', etc. Always remember the Philippine-American War which killed about 1.5 million Filipinos as a direct result of this war & always remember that the Americans plundered the Philippines' reserve in gold and silver worth, over US$100 billion dollars (according to witness Soledad Vital de Luna, second wife of Juan Luna) Truth hurts!

@yrmexicansstupid yeah i know that, europeans killed the most people in history, they have blood in their hands, and it wont come off no matter how hard they wash it off. i admire the philosophies of the ancient native americans, our culture was very similar with your ancestors before the europeans arrived, we were also animist and nature worshiper, but that culture was destroyed by the invaders and replaced by something obscure as the roman catholic faith..greetings from ur filipino bros. and sis.

@mgeezy666 You didn't understand. They should all look like a normal Filipino because that is the video all about. This is not about a 100% spanish woman that lives in the Philippines. This is about the women in the Philippines during the Spanish Era.

Why do we need to be a racist to those other races who did the same thing to us just to prove that being a racist is not good? Your just like reading "ONO" from right to left and vice versa.

Guys, we should all move on from this. m Nothing we say could change what happened in the past. History is what shaped us and history will continue to repeat itself.
A lot of us are of mixed ancestry and we can't deny that it's a part of who we are. Sure we can't change the crimes made by/to our forefathers but we can't let those same things repeated again.

For some clarification, there were indios (to put into the context of the discussion) who were able to grow in economic prosperity at the time due the country's sudden link to the outside world through the opening of the Suez Canal. With most of those indios being merchants, their respective businesses flourished and were able to send their children to the best schools here and abroad.
none of those looked spanish....they all looked like normal philipinos do.
