one of the major problems i had and still having with my rover turbo tomcat is few months ago everytime it went past 5,000 rpm, the left side cv would pop out and i would get a new cv put in then it will come out again and again. i checked it myself and found a bits of broken washer in the hole in the tranny that the cv goes in to. and i just got told that it needs a new transmision just because of that broken washer, so im prety disapointed in rover. Anyone kno whow to fix this cv problem?

Great car, had one back in the late 90's. Never gave me any problems, very underated and was a genuine 150mph car ;) A future classic!!

Cor sounds like you might have enough parts to build a second one :P
My place is housing lots of spares for my rover too but not an engine as of yet haha!

great vid, love my Rover sterling fastback and hopefuly keep it till I die ( well do have house full of spares as cant resist a bargin off ebay lol ,including new engine (kv6) car has 172k miles on it now and still going strong
