@exileinbriville I liked "Twilight" the best. Even though the story is the most simplistic I just find the initial romance and the introduction of the world the most compellling things of the series. "Eclipse" as my second favoite because of the added plot and swift(er) pacing, as well as the resolution of a major plot conflict (Victoria). I did like NM quite a bit but I really disliked the constant reminder of the "hole in her chest". Takes true guts to excise your romantic lead though. Haha

@exileinbriville Anytime. I apologize for being undeniably harsh in my criticisms of the film but as I said, it's all opinion and if we can't respect anothers opinion then there's no point in discussion. Oddly, though NM was my second least favorite of the books (BD takes that prize) I think I liked that movie the most. The lush palette of the film and Lautner's inherent likability/relatabily really gave that movie a good chemistry, I thought. Message me if you care to discuss further. =)

@exileinbriville In addition, her slavish replication of the book's structure deeply hurt the film's climax. NM had this problem as well but the foreshadowing was more competently handled there. It wasn't until this one I felt a true three-act build-up. Lastly, her decision to make the Nomads appear "rock star-like" was an abysmal one (again, in my opinion) because they just looked plain silly and not especially threatening. However, I must say that the final scene at the prom was excellent.

@exileinbriville All opinion, of course, but I couldn't stand Hardwicke's direction. I will give her credit for properly establishing a tone of small-town mystery but I think that Slade got better acting from the leads and Weitz improved on the series by going in more of a fantasy direction (bolstered by the use of bright, woodsy scenery instead of the blue filter, which imo was overdone). I also disliked her handheld-style of filming. Not to mention her amazingly terrible flashback sequence.

@kalebknecht If you are making reference to "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" (and I can't IMAGINE what OTHER movie has all of those things XD) then you sir, are my hero of the day. lol That is an awesome movie. It's definitely in my top 5 favorite musicals. How could it not be with Tim Curry? =D

@phantomsdaydreams True.... then again, I am a fan of a movie that has a mad scientist who is also a transvestite... And an alien. Yeah, probably shouldn't be saying anything. >.>

@phantomsdaydreams Hell, then it's their loss. If they're gonna kill themselves for her, go right ahead! : p
my suggestion if you like the whole battle scenes i wouldnt go see breaking dawn because you are going to be highly disappointed.

@TheBookwurm82 I know the story. I am in the group of people that felt it was still a decent climax regardless of the lack of actual action. Tension, my friend. At any rate, I'm almost 100% sure they'll add some more action, like they did for every movie thus far.
