@TooFlyForMoney , english is the language spoken in trinidad, so I'm guessing if you know english, you would be just fine

I'm not trying to be racist. but in trini is it easy to understand english. I know they have an accent and I don't want to look like an idiot not understanding them.

i'm from the USA. im studying abroad in trinidad/tobago right now..EVERYTHING I HAVE EATEN HAS BEEN DELICIOUS!! SERIOUSLY. I know y'all have pride in your country and you should. it's absolutely beautiful for one... and for two, the food is great. yesterday, i had my first "double".. OH MY LORD! it was so good. i ate it so fast. I had a "bake and shark" today too. sooo good. i feel so blessed to be here. the people are very nice.. the place is lush & beautiful & the food is unbelievable!
