US Navy and Merchant Marine working together to accomplish the mission. I worked on the Carolyn from 2005 - 2007.
This was my last voyage.

  • I have no experience in Naval or Civilian Merchant Marine operations. But I have 10 years in the US Army and 16 years OTR commercial driving. If I made a list of things people should have for the next 10,000 years in proficient technical capabilities; projects like these would be 1 of them! Without Navies; I don't think these skills or experiments would be possible? The big payoff will be when advanced nuclear energy (fusion) will be the prime mover for platforms such as these.

  • How is the situation of hegemonism and domination? Who has need for "there isn´t any need for a NR-!"?

Who in fact would be disturbed in the Caribian Sea by the NR-1?

  • The submarine could not be operational for more than 330 days because of the limitations of reactor durability due to its very small size.

  • A few years ago I read a book called "Dark Waters", all about the construction and operations of the NR1 during the cold war, really impressive read

  • very cool. My husband was on NR-1 from 2001-2002. He really loved it.
