As you are familiar with, basically, only unmarried (usually, young) women can wear “Furisode”, and after marriage, they wear usual Kimono with short sleeves.
At these videos, the recital was the 15th anniversary of the debut of singer (Ishikawa Sayuri, 29 years old). At the time she was married, and so she should wear usual Kimono. But, for the special reason to look back over her 15 years carrier with her fans, she wore Furisode and song her memorial songs.

Just curious.Why is it that older women(30+) in these singing programs wear furisode? I've seen MUCH older women do it. (No disrespect, I'm not saying she's old.)
