@mdesmara yea thats right

It's sad that they will just let this piece of history rust away. There was an M3 or M5 in front of a VFW in Pickens County, Alabama. I checked it out when I was a kid, the suspension had already rusted to the point of collapse and the inside was completely ruined. A shame really.
Where in Virginia?

Where exactly is it sitting? Gun is missing, but not in bad shape.
-
was it a tight fit inside that thing?
-
It even includes the original plastic-cup i see! Ok, just kidding, very nice!
-
the poor girls not in great shape, but its odd to see a real turret on it, most were scraped when they turned them into comand vehicles. and yeah its an M5 Stuart :)

You welcome and no problem.

So they just let you get inside it even if it is on display?

i don't know, there was no one there to stop me from going in! kind of a "town monument" or something. it was a town of probably 400 people, and no one was paying any attention to it.

no? what is it then. I wasn't sure myself, but thought it might be some variant. Correct me if I am wrong.
