"Yes sir, it will take over your body and mind. Guitar is a great alternative.
Spending cash on a quality guitar to me never seems like a waste of money, if cared for for they only go up in value."
You just earned 12 billion points for saying that :)
Nice vid

@thejakeludwig Yeah, he approached me with the offer, was sitting on E and was tapped on cash. Honestly, I felt kinda guilty getting the guitar for so little but he didn't really seem to be attached to it, was just something to bargain with was how it seemed to me. I would have thrown him $20 no problem but didn't have it on me at the time. if I wouldn't have bought it the next guy would have. At least it went to a good home and got him down the road a bit.

I bought a 1968 Fender Telecaster with factory Bigsby and original case through an ad in the paper for $275. I have turned down an offer for it of $7,500.

I wanna get a guitar cheap as long as it works. I wish I could get one for ten bucks.. lucky. It sounds great too.
Anyone know where I could get an acoustic for under 50?

well he is now much more worth becouse of the pickups they are custom handmade and are abouth 200 euro´s each 3 times is 600 and 500 make 1100 but it was very cool to do it and if they were out of gold fully 24 then they cant sound btw silver or grome pickups sound much better than golden ones.
and i hav discovered that my guitar is very old it wa olread 10 years old when i bought it but it is stil nice i want only sound for my money.
my local dollar store has a cheap $2 six string acoustic guitar with 11 frets and one pick, a plastic strap, plastic strings and a whammy bar that does screw into the guitar, but doesn't work as a whammy, beat THAT!!! lol

@TheEagleOfTheNight Sounds like a sweet ax. I think Randy Rhoads used that exact model on the "Diary of a Madman" tour.

I bought a $60 guitar from a thrift shop when I was gigging around california. It was great to tear it apart and put new hardware in it, modify it, make it insane, all without worrying about damaging something worth a lot. Then when I was flying back home I didn't feel like checking extra luggage so I gave it to a kid at the bus station.
I felt like a hero that day

@peniosasdasd Yeah check out my vid "Guitar Dream Team" that is the reson I got this one. Didn't want to lug around USA level guitars, that's why this one is great. No worries whatsoever! If I drop it or knock a chunk of paint off I'm not going to lose any sleep. Funny thing, I play this more than the other 3 now, weird!!
Cool you gave a kid the axe, I did that once with a string-thru body Jackson Dinky, does give 'ya a warm feeling, cheers!

well how much is the valeu now i mean i bought a guitar a fender stratocaster made 1990 mexico and i bought it for 500 euros know it is woth 2500 becouse i have changed the pickups
guitarherofreak161 1 year ago
@guitarherofreak161 2500 euros = $3282 in US dollars
So you're telling us a Mex made strat is worth this due to a pickup change? What are pickups made of 24k gold?
Just in case you may believe this, a new USA Custom Shop Strat could be purchased for less. Used Custom Shop Strats with quilted headstocks in very fine condition are selling for $1500 locally in DFW, TX. Let me know if someone gives you that amount of cash for it, I would love to do business with him, ha
