Skyrim Episode 3: Bleak Falls Barrow - The Golden Claw (1 of 2) [HD] [スカイリム] [英語]

In this video, we are heading into Bleak Falls Barrow. We need to find two items: the first is the Golden Claw for a side quest in Riverwood. The second is the Dragonstone for Jarl Baalgruuf of Whiterun.

This video shows the approach to the temple and the encounter with Arvel the Swift (not swift enough). Stay tuned for the exciting conclusion!

To everyone who was concerned about me doing two plays at once, don't be. Skyrim's SHITTY auto-save system overwrote Judicator AND his backup file (both manual saves mind you). My GF played for 10 mins and I lost 5 hours of both my work and my friend's work on the Jud file. GG Bethesda. (and I know someone will say it's my fault for not disabling auto-save.... I shouldn't HAVE to. It shouldn't overwrite other characters.)

I love the game, but this is another PRIME example of a game releasing with a shit ton of bugs that I'm sure the developer was aware of pre-launch. Now I know Bethesda doesn't give a crap about that... or maybe they do, but there are business pressures from publishers and investors to consider.

So... Bethesda... this might only be my opinion, but I don't think it's worth the long term damage to your reputation to release products like this. Well, I guess it is judging by your sales figures, but I was wary of buying this game based on your reputation from Fallout.... and this sort of bug only builds on that perception. It's not just this one bug, either. There have been several others that I personally have dealt with, and a ton reported by other users online. I'll continue playing and enjoying this title, but I doubt I'll be buying new copies of your games in the future.

I don't know. A lot of people ask me if I recommend this game. I do, based on gameplay.... but I always have to qualify the recommendation with a "but you might have to deal with glitches."

To be fair, this isn't just Bethesda. My favorite company, From, released Dark Souls with some pretty critical problems in Japan. They patched it very quickly, but still.... this is the state of the industry right now. This isn't a call for action or anything... I just felt like bitching. And I feel better now. Thanks for reading, and I apologize for the negative tone. I usually prefer to hold my tongue rather than give a negative vibe, but damn. It was only five hours, but it could have just as easily been a hundred.

@misterG2006 Mine crashed every five minutes. I disable auto-save, and it did not help. Patching also did not help. The disc may have been defective, I'm not sure. I haven't heard of other people having the same problem that I experienced, but it was a major problem for me (and it's also the reason why I only have a few Skyrim videos).

May bad experience may be rare. I'd do some research before buying it on the PS3, though.

I haven't been to whiterun yet, but I still have a serious problem.D: i came up to this temple to do the gold claw quest you get in riftwood but the entire temple is glitched. It's hard to explain but i can get the small amount of ruins next to the temple but the entire moutin the temple in built into isn't there, there is only a random door, and i cannot get the the door (which matches the door used to get into the temple) because it just cuts off (the ground) and if i walk onto it i get stuck.

To conjure anything, such as a Flame Atronach you need to have to crosshairs turn white instead of red. To do this aim at the ground or a rock that is less than a meter away.

@EpicNameBro I have no problems with the game, call customer service, quit comlaining and solve the problem. Playstations customer service is great, and so is this games customer service, so call them. I hate to hear people say things like "I had to quit playing due to bugs"? Maybe you bought a xbox, that could be your problem.
