I was impressed by the vision and dedication to knowledge mobilization in Quebec, by the cohort who see this as a vocation, and by the action and policy orientation. I was less impressed by paternalistic statements, lack of historical memory of this conversation, and by the institutional biases that privilege one part of the equation at the expense of the other. I am hopeful that actions will develop from this event and pleased by the open mindedness and creativity.
