@manikato I actually went both days also - ran into Imant Strauks in the crowd , If you
watch the Jam at conclusion - was prettty cool in the audience One guitar featuring 2 Skyhooks - Red and Bongo. This very good. - saw tehm at Mother Rock Korumburra 1975 withMadder Lake and a string more Daddy Cool , Hooks, Thorpey . when prices were not insane . And yes - Chain collectively or individually smoke!

I hated this song for decades, it reminded me of try hard hippies from Tasmania- They may be great in small doses, but...I was moderately surprised, this is a great performance.

I was at this gig too, both days. At the time, I wasn't as interested in the 'old hippy stuff' like Chain, being at that time more into the New Wave groups who were mostly on the first day. It was only later that I've come to appreciate how great some of the early 70s Aussie bands were.
So in retrospect, I'm glad to able to say, 'yeah, I was there, I saw this'.

I've seen many a great concert and quite a few of them at the Bowl but this was one the best concerts I've ever been to. Free admission over two days and bands like Chain and Madder Lake killed them. The album is still on high rotation in my collection and when Taylor and the boys do this it pumps out of the house and shows all the little rap fuckers next door what real music is all about.
