My BBC doc on the London Eye. The great wheel rises to the London skyline. One of the few occasions when a major feat of engineering was performed in full public gaze -and just look at the faces. Why not time-lapse? Yes, on lift day 1 we had 3 x 35mm film cameras in position...but a cable snapped. Our budget was blown. Editor Mel Quigley - great job.
