@Citrakite Yeah, that show had so many continuity errors, the writers should have said flat out that it was in an alternate timeline. Having another Enterprise, with the same registration as Arturis' fake starship from Voyager's 'Hope and Fear,' first contact with the Klingons sixty years ahead of schedule, and certainly not starting a war...the list goes on and on.

@Mkoberland The Temporal Cold War really did confuse if this (The whole series) was an Alt Verse compared to TOS and the Bum rush ending to that whole arc didn't really help. The last season seems to suggest it was wth the Romulans messing with Vulcan making them dicks so they've been holding Earth Back a generation or more in tech. Same can apply to their MU as well. It's the alt of an alt.

@Citrakite I think this may have taken place in an alternate universe of the Mirror Univers. The MU seems to be a completely separate realm than ours, with a different set of rules, that's why things are so crazy. It probably just has its own set of alternate realities, like what Worf encountered in the episode 'Parallels.'

It would be cool if in one of the new movies, a Sovereign-class ship from the future comes back and its superior technology corrupts a couple of officers, kind of like the Star Empire in Diane Carey's novel 'Dreadnought' (although that ship wasn't from the future, I realize that)
