  • Sadly we lost Edward Winter to Parkinsons Disease in 2001 . When I become aware of his passing it saddened me like I had lost an old friend . Anyone with a sense of humor like this deserves a place in heaven . He was in the best episodes . Goodbye Colonel Flagg . God knows we needed you here

  • Flagg was a hilarious pain in the butt, and the actor who played him was awesome. But not as awesome as Harry Morgan was. RIP, colonels.

  • does anyone know where i can watch this online with out a bunch of downloads and crappy quizes? and the first person who suggests Hulu get's it! Been there and on a million other sites but I just can't find this show! It's not on Netflix either, just the movie

  • @Banner4real035 I agree - showing he was no pushover for Flagg's bullying. Later, Charles Winchester proved himself a tougher customer than Frank Burns, and Margaret Houlihan would turn against Flagg, to whom she and Burns had tried to buddy up in the past.

  • I thought Edward Winter was hysterically funny and he was a favorite character actor of mine.

  • As much as I hate the pacifist crap that permeates M*A*S*H*, I respect the talent of those who created it. Truly one of the best written shows in the history of television.

  • @terrafirma91 He really was the best . I always watch the old episodes when he is in them

  • Flagg should have got a lot more airtime. He was so funny.

  • 1:30 to 1:37--probably my favorite Col. Potter line in the whole series. And he had many great ones, Farewell!

  • I can't even watch this clip to the end with those two sanctimonious pricks mugging in the background. Their leftist claptrap is what ruined this series. If you've ever seen Mike Farrell interviewed on television you'd know why I hate his wimpy guts. If you want to see him treated as he should be then look for the Penn & Teller episode of "Bullshit" where they just let him drone on with his volume turned down while Penn rags on him. It's what this asshole deserves.

  • ahhh yes...Sydney Freidman. This character makes me want to spit.
