I used similar programs and its designed to test the Hard drives arm and can give you all sorts of readings. I have used this on some customers machines to diagnostics and found that some hard drives actually died as this puts major strain or abnormal strain on the Hard drives read head which is operated by Voice Coil.

Lemme sort thru what i still have left, I think the last few 300mb's i had died of unknown causes =\ will have to check.
